The Feast

Ma was invited to a Feast at The Ridge in Battleford Saskatchewan by the

Mosquito Grizzly Bear Head Lean Man Nation Treaty 4 and Treaty 6

She went on her bike so I went along.

No photos were taken during the Feast.

There was sure a lot of smoke in the air from the pipe and tabacco ceremony and the smudging. I wasn't allowed in but Ma said it's too much to write and she would tell the story to anyone that is interested. It was quite an experience and she felt very honoured to take part.

The MGBHLM Nation are planning to build an Interpretive Centre and Art Gallery on The Ridge to tell their story and ensure it lives on.
