Jones Falls Locks

Ma and I are loving it at 4 Shady Lane with Sue and Tim.

While our days are filled, they're very chilled!

Breakfast, swim, run around the property, head out for an adventure with a picnic basket, always a evening swim and who knows after that.

Todays adventure...Jones Falls Locks on the Rideau Canal. Now a UNESCO site.

Which means this will be maintained and kept to its orignal structures, designs, and beauty.

There are a series of 4 locks at Jones Falls.

All I will tell you is that it is said to be the prettiest and has the highest lift of any lock station on the Rideau.

Look it up. It is super interesting.

We were lucky to catch the last boat and 2 kayaks of the day
